Script on the road
While Netflix is negotiating with Leitch, known from, among others Deadpool 2 (2018), Bullet Train (2022) in The Fall Guy (2024)is the writer of Dune (2021) Jon Spaihts, already tied to work on the script. The film is produced by Leitch himself and its producer Kelly McCormick via their production company 87north, in collaboration with The Coalition.
Last hope
Gears of War takes place on the planet Sera -ravaged by conflicts. While society is already collapsing, a new threat is popping up. It is about the locust, a ruthless breed of underground beings that brings humanity to the edge of extinction. The last hope rests on Delta Squad, a team of soldiers led by the hardened and fallen sergeant Marcus Fenix. It is up to them to turn the tide and save humanity from ruin.
