Here is the general course of a job interview to help you arrive as zen as possible to this first appointment or each step is important to anticipate to avoid unpleasant surprises.
0. Your arrival

1. The maintenance starts: you introduce yourself.
The recruiter generally gives you the floor at first to present yourself: take up the big points of your CV and the reasons that led you to apply for this job. You must train in advance at this monologue exercise: prepare with a friend to talk about you, your background, your desires and passions for your area of competence.
2. The recruiter then asks questions
To obtain details on yourself and your journey, in particular: your training, your experience, your professional project, the reason for your application. He can ask you specific questions about a particular mission (responsibilities, results obtained, etc.)
3. The recruiter presents the position and the company
By specifying: the skills and skills necessary for this employment, the specific missions of this position, the expectations (objectives) of this position, the sector of activity, the company itself (organization, corporate culture, values)
Ask questions so as not to leave any shadow zone: responsibilities, workforce, hierarchy, competitors, organization of the company …
4. The recruiter may wish to ask you more personal questions
On your personality, your motivations, your previous experiences, your salary claims, the progress of your job search (do you have other tracks? If so where …).
5. It’s up to you to ask the questions!
The salary if it has not been mentioned before, working conditions … Do not ask an interest-free question like “the holidays, do you give tickets-restaurants” or “What is the price of coffee machine coffee? »You would discredit your application – you can generally approach the advantages offered to employees: what is the telework policy in the company? What are the other advantages for employees (works council, profit -sharing …) the recruiter will normally specify for you these points.
The order of these steps is not compulsory, the job interview can, for example, start with a presentation of the company and the position by the recruiter.
