Several people were overturned by a car that rushed into the crowd Thursday before the derby between Espanyol Barcelona and FC Barcelona, decisive for the title of Spanish champion, without however making serious injuries, according to a message broadcast in the Cornella stadium.
The match was briefly interrupted in the 8th minute of play, to inform the spectators that “the accident having taken place outside the stadium” was “under control” and had not caused “seriously injured”, noted an AFP journalist.
On videos circulating on social networks, relayed by the Spanish media, you can see a white vehicle rushed to Espanyol supporters gathered in front of the stadium.

According to the Spanish press, several spectators in the gallery behind the goalkeeper of the Espanyol Joan Garcia left the enclosure as a protest, believing that the meeting should not have been played in these circumstances.
