The 3ᵉ stage of Giro d’Italia 2025 takes place this Sunday, with a 160 km loop course around Vlorë (Valona), Albania. This stage marks the end of the Albanian stay of the peloton before the transfer to Italy. This Monday, the runners will therefore be entitled to a rest stage.
The runners will have to climb about 2800 meters of elevation. The main ascent of the stage will be that of the Llogara pass, a rise of 10.7 km at 7.4 % average slope, the summit of which is located about 39 km from the finish. This ascent could promote climbers or backpackers wishing to anticipate an arrival at the sprint.
The third stage of the GIRO 2025 will be broadcast this Friday, May 9, to follow on television live on Eurosport 1 from 1:30 p.m.
