From today is Nonnas (2025) To be seen on Netflix, a brand new feel-good film about a group of Italian grandmothers who run the kitchen of a restaurant as chefs. The new film with a wonderful culinary edge is now on the streaming service.
True story
Nonnas follows the true story of Joe (Vince Vaughn) who, after the loss of his mother and grandmother, turns to their generation-old recipes for comfort and direction. With the money of his mother’s insurance and a little help from his friends, he opens Enoteca Maria, an old -fashioned Italian place with four grandmothers, or “Nonas”, from different cities in Italy who share their dishes with the neighborhood.
