The writer Angelo Rinaldi is dead, announces the French Academy

The writer and literary critic Angelo Rinaldi, Prix Femina 1972, died Wednesday at the age of 84, announced The French Academy.

“The perpetual secretary and the members of the French Academy are sad to share the disappearance of their colleague, Angelo Rinaldi, which occurred this Wednesday, May 7, in Paris,” the Academy said in a statement.
