Michael Pitt was arrested in New York by order of sexual abuse. The 44-year-old actor, best known for Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014)a series of incidents that took place from April 2020, is being charged. He must appear in court in June.

In all cases it was about mistreatment of his ex-girlfriend. In August 2021, Pitt would have tried to strangle her. In other situations he attacked her by throwing physical objects. According to TMZ Pitt has since been released again, after he had paid the deposit. In June he must appear in court to defend himself against the charges. Pitt’s lawyer speaks of “completely unfounded claims” who “suddenly come up” years after the alleged incidents. It is not the first time that the PITT comes into contact with the dish. In 2022 he was arrested after he had physically attacked a man and brought his phone. That same year he was accused of having thrown objects at people from a high roof.

He is also known for Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers (2003)the American version of Funny Games and the series Hannibal (2013–2015). His most recent role was in the Netflix film Reptile (2023).
