The defenders of the André-Malraux school, in Courbevoie, will have tried everything to save the establishment of 11 classes and 246 students doomed to closure at the end of the school year: manifestationspetitions and legal actions. But, Friday, May 2, the Administrative Court of Cergy (Val-d’Oise) has once again-after a first attempt at the end of February-rejected their request for summary proceedings which requested the suspension of the execution of a deliberation voted on November 25, 2024.
The municipal council then approved the modification of the school card, With new perimeters for elementary schools Guynemer, Rouge-de-Lisle and Jean-de-la-Fontaine. Three establishments that will welcome those of the Malraux school in September. The latter was however concerned by an important demolition-reconstruction project, itself registered in a larger program including the realization of the European school Paris La Défense and a new Renardières College.
