New police custody in the investigation into mysterious prisons attacks In the name of an unknown group « DDPF ». According to our information, this would concern less than a dozen suspects this Wednesday morning. These are minors who benefit from a 48 -hour police custody.
Tuesday evening, Twenty-four police custody had also been extended and two others were lifted, said the National anti -terrorist parquet (PNAT). Indeed, as part of a large net, twenty-six people were arrested this week: 25 Monday and a “detained person” on Tuesday, which brought “the assessment to 26 people arrested”, including seven detention, according to the PNAT, who seized the investigation due in particular to the coordinated nature of the shares.
“We are more on performers and intermediaries than on the sponsors” among the police custody, said a source close to the file, while another spoke of a mixture of these three types of profiles. Asked about France Inter Wednesday, the Minister of Justice Gérald Darmanin confirms: there are “little hands”, “people who organized on social networks that we have seen aimed at terrorizing the prison agents” and “some sponsors”.
According to him, the people who have been arrested are “linked to narcotrafic”, including “members of the DZ Mafia” but not only. The attacks on prisons are therefore not the work “neither of ultra -ke, nor a foreign interference, nor a general coincidence”, insisted the minister.
The operation was launched at 6:00 am on Monday, in the Paris region, in Marseille, Lyon and Bordeaux. Searches have also taken place, according to a press release co -signed on Monday by the PNAT and the national jurisdiction against organized crime (Junalco). Police custody can last up to 96 hours.
“Very great organized crime”
The anti -terrorist prosecution deals with fifteen facts committed between April 13 and 21, but other facts have targeted other penitentiary establishments, without “links” being able to “necessarily” be established “at this stage” with this investigation, underlined the PNAT, which was nevertheless notified by local prosecutors.
The thread comes when Parliament definitively adopted a bill on Tuesday to strengthen the fight against drug traffickers for final adoption. The text provides in particular to create high security districts in prisons, where the most dangerous traffickers would be affected.
For Gérald Darmanin, the link between this law and the attacks is no doubt. “It is obvious that they are trying to intimidate the penitentiary agents so that they go on strike, that they stop working, so that they ask the ministers not to adopt this law” which aims, “he recalls,” to isolate the narcotickers of the rest of the world “. In these high security districts, “they will no longer be able to communicate with the outside, as in Italy,” he said.
In their joint press release on Monday, the PNAT and the Jualco, of which magistrates specialized in organized crime were detached from the investigation, noted that the facts were “likely to register” in “very great organized crime”, which was one of the tracks envisaged, with that of ultra -ke and foreign interference.
On April 13 in Agen appeared for the first time the tag “DDPF” (defense of French prisoners) nearly seven burned cars in the parking lot of the National School of Penitentiary Administration (ENAP).
A series of car fires of prison personnel had followed everywhere in France, fire mortar fire on prisons, even Kalashnikov fire as in Toulon.
