Just about a year ago, Netflix subscribers became under the spell of The Gentlemen (2024– )the crime series of Guy Ritchie. The series captured the streaming service in a short time and was rewarded with a high rating. Since then, fans full of excitement have been waiting for a second season, but unfortunately this sequel will take longer than expected.
Delay
This is not the first time it is all around The Gentlemen A little slower than initially hoped. After the enormous success of the series, the news about an extension was surprisingly long. Only five months after the release in March finally came in August the confirmation that fans were waiting for. Why that decision lasted so long was never officially explained.
Mei 2026
Anyone who had hoped that new episodes would appear within a year unfortunately will be disappointed. The recordings recently started in the United Kingdom. Eight episodes will be made again, but it is expected that the second season will only be shown in May 2026. That would mean that there is more than two years between the first and the second season.
