The Iranian director Asghar Farhadi is currently working on a new film for which he has collected the nose of the salmon from the French film world. Farhadi who received recognition worldwide and won an Oscar twice with A Separation (2011) in The Salesman (2016)promises to be very high again.
Parallel Tales
A new film by Asghar Farhadi means good news for many. The expectations are therefore high for its upcoming production Parallel Tales. The main roles are played by Isabelle Huppert, Virginie Efira, Vincent Cassel and Pierre Niney, while Adam Bessa joins the cast. Actress Catherine Deneuve will also make a short appearance in the film. The recordings start very soon. Parallel Tales is Farhadi’s first French -speaking film since The past (2013).
Cannes
Little is known about the plot of Parallel Tales. The exact release date is not yet known, but it is intended that the film can be seen in the cinema in the spring of 2026. During the Cannes film festival next month, the film will be offered for pre-sales.
