A collision in the air between two aircraft near Marana airport, northwest of Tucson, Arizona, left two dead, according to local police.
“The Marana police service is on the ground at Marana regional airport in relation to a aircraft collision,” said the police force on its social networks.
“Two deaths are confirmed and the two aircraft were fixed wing aircraft, with a single motor, and smaller,” it is also specified.
The United States Transport Security Office has confirmed, in a publication on social network X, that it “investigates a collision between a Cessna 172S and a 360 MK II Lancair near Marana, Arizona”.
