After a premiere last year at the American Sundance Film Festival Freaky Tales (2024) Soon to the general public. The first trailer of the bizarre film with Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, singer Normani and Tom Hanks can now be seen.

The official synopsis describes the film as “a multi -track mixtape made of colorful characters – an NBA star, a corrupt agent, a female rap duo, teenage punches, neo -Nazis and a debtor – who are on a ram race in a fever dream of power measurements and fights”.
In the trailer we see Pascals character Clint, who tells the story from 1987 in Oakland while Clips flash past Normani as a musician. Another narrator then takes over to show how Clint is aiming at Sleepy Floyd (Ellis), even though he has decided to retire.
Last film by Angus Cloud
Angus Cloud, known from Euphoria (2019– )died in 2023 at the age of 25. Last year he appeared on the silver screen Abigail (2024) and like Snickers’ voice in Garfield (2024). His role in Freaky Tales Is really his last performance now. The new film is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, who previously together Captain Marvel (2019) made.
