Bolivia is bereaved by a terrible road accident. At least 30 people died and 15 others were injured on Monday when a coach fell in a ravine in Yocalla in the department of Potosi, in the south of the country, police announced.
The accident left “at least 30” dead, said Colonel Victor Benavides, adding that the bodies were being transferred to the morgue. The authorities favor the hypothesis of speeding. The driver “lost control” of the vehicle, said Colonel Benavides. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital, some in a “serious” state, he added.

Also citing the police, the United Channel reported that 15 people had been injured, without specifying the total number of passengers on the vehicle. The accident occurred on a winding road connecting the cities of Potosi and Oruro.
