The President’s special emissary for Ukraine assures that Europe will not participate in peace talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine
Asked about the presence of Europe at the peace talks provided between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, the Ukraine President’s special emissary, Keith Kellogg, said that it belonged to “The school of realism, and that it would not happen”saying being aware that this could “Growing a little”.
“To my European friends, I would say: participate in the debate, not by composing you to be, yes or no, at the table, but by presenting concrete proposals, ideas, by increasing the expenses (Defense) »he added to the Munich Safety Conference.
Mr. Kellogg justified his words by mentioning the 2015 Minsk II agreements, which aimed to end the initial invasion of Ukraine by Russia in 2014, in which Germany and France were involved alongside Ukraine and Russia. “There were a lot of people at the table (negotiations)but it didn’t work ”said Kellogg, adding that European interests would however be taken into account.
