Forty people were injured Thursday by a driver who rushed to the crowd during a demonstration in the German city.

A 2-year-old girl and her 37-year-old mother, injured with 37 other people in the bolden car attack on Thursday in the street in Munich (Germany), died on Saturday, February 15, local police announced. A driver launched his vehicle on the crowd during a union demonstration. Arrested, he was able to be interviewed by the authorities and the investigation delivered first elements.
The suspect acted for reasons “religious” et “Islamists”said the authorities. This 24 year old man “Recognized having voluntarily struck the participants in the demonstration and for that gave a reason that I would summarize as a religious motivation”reported a representative of the local prosecution. On the other hand, “Nothing indicates that it was linked to any organization such as the Islamic State”she said.
