The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) is currently investing related to alleged hacking that has an impact on employee internal data leaks.
Although the data affected is general, the Ministry of Communication and Security confirmed that the steps were quickly taken to maintain information security and reveal the party responsible for this incident.
In a press release received on Tuesday (4/2/2025), the Director General of Kemkomdigi Digital Space Supervision, Alexander Sabar said, the Ministry had detected a hacking effort at the Kemkomdigi Data and Informatics Suggestions Center (PDSI).
“We apologize if there are parties affected. We have mitigated alleged hacking, closing all security gaps, and strengthening the cyber defense system,” Alexander said.
As part of the investigation, the Ministry of Communication and Information did several things. Starting from in -depth audits in PDSI infrastructure, risk mitigation by closing security gaps, analysis of cyber attack patterns carried out, and suspicious activity tracking.
In addition, all units under the Ministry of Community and Security are ordered to conduct internal security audits to increase responses to cyber incidents.
