SEP announces date for call for upper average income

The head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Mario Delgado, said that with the new model of higher secondary education there will be no more excluded, and a place will be guaranteed to all applicants.

He explained that February 14 A call will be published for all high school students.

Then, at the beginning of March, the students are going to register on a platform where they will select ten higher secondary education options.

In the case of the UNAM and the IPNDelgado said they can take an exam, but already having a place insured in another institution that may occupy or not, depending on their result.

“There will be no more excluded. Everyone will have a space to continue their studies and find their vocation and life project. Today the comipems ends, a new model of access to the Baccalaureate begins in the metropolitan area of ​​the Valley of Mexico,” he said .

Mario Delgado also recognized the performance of President Claudia Sheinbaum against the United States to impose tariffs.

“We have a President of the Republic who has given a chair of temperance, wisdom and good congruence and patriotism and has made a good negotiation with the United States government. We are very proud, President Claudia Sheinbaum,” he said.

He recalled that the president has participated in different student movements to guarantee equity in access to education.

Among the educational advances he mentioned the creation of the Rita Cetina scholarship, for basic education, which benefits 5.6 million students.
