The Intermunicipal System of Drinking Water and Sewage Services (SIAPA) reports that an interruption in the electrical supply in Chapala temporarily affected the operation of the Chapala-Guadalajara Pumping Plant, responsible for supplying the aqueduct between both towns.

This situation stopped the service for approximately two hours, causing possible effects in high areas of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (118 neighborhoods), where there could be a decrease in pressure or cuts in supply.
When will service be restored?
Full recovery is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, but starting this Sunday, the restoration will be gradual in the affected neighborhoods.
If you need a supply, users can request the free water pipe service by contacting SIAPATEL:
Telephone: 3336-68-2482.
