Dominique Pelicot, “the biggest sex criminal of the last twenty years”, in the words of his daughter, was undoubtedly already in the 1990s when he was still living in the Paris region before settling in Mazan (Vaucluse) . Already indicted for a rape followed by a murder and for an attempted rape committed in the Paris region, respectively in 1991 and 2002, and while the courts are exploring five other “cold cases” which could be attributed to him, “the ogre de Mazan” is the target of a new complaint for attempted rape which was filed last December, M6 reported this Wednesday evening.
The facts date back to 1995, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The victim was then 12 years old. She explained to Parisian PJ investigators that she recognized her attacker during the trial of Dominique Pelicot and his 50 co-defendants. The modus operandi described by the latter indeed corresponds to that for which Dominique Pelicot is being examined in his Parisian affairs.
The saving arrival of the victim’s mother
The man who would become “the ogre of Mazan” would have presented himself at the family home as an electrician, while the little girl was alone. He then allegedly tried to put her to sleep with a cloth soaked in ether, a process that Dominique Pelicot, betrayed by his DNA, admitted to having used in the attempted rape of 2002 for which he is indicted.
The young girl finally escaped the abuse of her attacker, who fled hastily disturbed by the mother’s return to her home. A complaint was filed at the time, but his attacker could not be identified, completes M6.

Tried last December, Dominique Pelicot was sentenced to twenty years in prison for having raped and had his ex-wife, Gisèle Pelicot, raped for a decade by strangers recruited on the Internet. The fifty co-defendants, men aged between 27 and 74, were all sentenced to sentences ranging from three years, two of which were suspended, to fifteen years of criminal imprisonment.
