Liputan6.com, San Jose – Samsung Electronics officially launches smartphone flagship The latest Galaxy S25 Series, with three variants: Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event at the SAP Center, San Jose, California, United States on Wednesday (22/1/2025) local time.
All three set new standards as AI smartphones that deliver multimodal AI systems to change the way users interact with their smartphones and the world.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 Series is based on the Galaxy’s ‘Essential Design’ philosophy which is based on the elements of ‘Simple, Impactful and Emotive’.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra perfects this essence by being the slimmest, lightest and most durable Galaxy S series ever with curved edges so users can hold the device more comfortably, which of course complements the design identity and aesthetics of the Galaxy S Series.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra also features sturdy titanium and the latest Corning Gorilla Armor 2 with a new material that is more durable than glass.
This material combines Corning glass-ceramic with an exclusive anti-reflective surface to help ensure superior impact protection while providing anti-reflection functionality and scratch resistance.
Every external component of the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 now contains at least one recycled material. The metal frame uses recycled aluminum armor for the first time.
In addition, each Galaxy S25 Series unit uses a minimum of 50% recycled cobalt for its battery.
In the screen sector, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is equipped with a 6.2 inch FHD+ screen, the Galaxy S25 Plus has a 6.7 inch QHD+ screen, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 6.9 inch QHD+ screen. All three are supported by Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display technology and Super Smooth 120Hz refresh rate (1~120Hz).
