Civil organizations led by the National Civic Front, opposed to the ruling party in Mexico, announced today the registration of the “We are Mexico” political party on the way to the 2027 elections, this with the aim of confronting the “authoritarianism” of the Government, which now receives “a soup of its own chocolate” from the American president, Donald Trump.

“We are not going to put candidates here. “They are going to be primary elections and not raffles, nor details from Andrés (Manuel López Obrador)”, he pointed out.
On the other hand, he denounced the refusal of National Electoral Institute (INE) to provide them with their facilities for the event, which he attributed to alleged government control.
“They denied it to us, but they are not going to give it to us, we are going to get it from the people. For this reason, we have set ourselves the goal of playing two games in one. “We are going to have to do twice as much, yes, but they will not be able to prevent us from being on the ballot giving the political fight to this bad Government that we have,” he added.
Finally, he mentioned that neither the former presidential candidate Xóchitl Gálvez, nor the former leader of the National Action Party (PAN), Gustavo Madero, will participate in the movement.
