The Government of Mexico offers various socioeconomic programs and supports aimed at students of different educational levels. Among them is the Benito Juárez Scholarship, a bimonthly financial support that benefits high school students during the school year.
The Universal Scholarship for Benito Juárez Higher Secondary Education Students It is designed for students enrolled in public schools under school or mixed modality, specifically for students at the upper secondary level, which includes high school, high school technical professional or their equivalents.

The registration period will be open from February 5 to 28, 2028. The Government of Mexico has reported that those who wish to apply for the Benito Juárez Scholarship will be able to do so online this month. The process will be carried out through the official site.
To complete the registration, interested parties must present the following documents in digital format:
- Student’s birth certificate.
- CURP of the student.
- Proof of current studies.
- Valid official identification of the responsible father, mother or guardian.
- CURP of the father, mother or guardian.
- Proof of address.
The Benito Juárez Universal Higher Secondary Education Scholarship offers financial support of 1,900 Mexican pesos every two months and seeks to guarantee access to education and support Mexican families in the academic training of their children.
- The amount is delivered during the 10 months that comprise the school year, for up to a maximum of 40 months, as long as the student remains enrolled.
Additionally and as an update, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced an increase of 60 pesos compared to the amount granted during the previous government, an amount that is already reflected in the 1,900 pesos that the students will receive.
