Mark Wahlberg will finally shine on the silver screen again from this week. His latest action film Flight Risk (2024) – directed by none other than Mel Gibson – will premiere in a few days.
High-altitude tension
A pilot is assigned to transport an Air Marshal, who in turn accompanies a fugitive to a trial. As they fly over the Alaskan wilderness, tensions run high and trust is tested. Not everyone on board is who they appear to be…
Topher Grace
Mel Gibson took the director’s chair. He previously directed films like Braveheart (1995), Hacksaw Ridge (2016) in The Passion of the Christ (2004). The fugitive is played by Topher Grace, who we know as Eric in That ’70s Show (1998–2006) and from BlacKkKlansman (2018). The role of the Air Marshal belongs to Michelle Dockery, known as Lady Mary Crawley in Downton Abbey (2010–2015).
Can be seen from this week
Flight Risk runs from next Thursday January 23 at the cinema. For a complete overview of all new films that will soon appear on the silver screen, you can go here.
