Similar to Hidden Figures
For Perry it is The Six Triple Eight a special project. He started writing the script as early as 1995. With a budget of $70 million, this is his most expensive film to date, but also one of his best-reviewed films to date. The war drama is praised, among other things, for bringing attention to an almost unknown story. Perry himself compares the women in his film to the women who are put in the spotlight Hidden Figures (2016). Both films honor women who have paved the way for important developments in the world to progress.
