The stage of this game is many empty islands in the clouds. Players will carry hang gliders and fly in the wind, explore the many land masses floating in the sky, and even control the islands to turn into giant ships in the sky, brave hurricanes, and explore the vast open world.
Sky Island is full of rich natural resources. In addition to collecting materials such as wood and stone to develop the island into the ideal appearance, cooking food can give players effect gains, and exploration can unlock new technologies.
However, the island also inhabits hostile “fungi”, which will devour various plants and animals, erode the environment, and turn into terrifying mushroom monsters to attack players.
In order to cure the corrupted nature and prevent the spread of fungi to create a safe home, players must find lost knowledge (technology) and prepare powerful antidotes to restore the balance of the aerial ecosystem. After the biodiversity is restored, there will be Opportunity to obtain special resources to enhance the creature’s ability to resist corruption.

When the island is developed to a certain extent, the entire island can be turned into a flying ship and can be freely controlled. Windmills, cables, and pulleys can be installed to allow the machine to realize automated operation and production.
Use jets of air to quickly increase island building capabilities and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can withstand the force of the impact.
“Aloft” can be played alone or with 7 players at the same time. You can fly your entire island to another player’s island and build a village of sky explorers with them.
The in-game island editor provides players with the ability to create and share with the community, making each other’s worlds more colorful. “Challenge corruption, restore ecological balance, and unleash your creativity in the boundless aerial world of “Aloft”!”
The early access phase of this game is expected to last for one year. During this period, it will be updated regularly, including improving the user experience and interface, adding more explorable ecosystems, introducing new buildings and weather systems, etc. It is not ruled out that the price will increase after the game is officially launched.
The current version of “Aloft” allows you to explore 3 different biomes, build and craft hundreds of different buildings and decorations, and use various combat mechanisms to eliminate different types of enemies. There are also life simulation systems such as farming and cooking. Interested readers can refer to the 2025 development roadmap.
