If the result is a balance in favor, it means that you have paid more taxes than you were really entitled to.. In this case, you can request a refund of that amount to your bank account or leave it as a “credit” for future tax payments.

Steps to check your credit balance:
1. Enter the page of the SAT con tu RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry) and your password.
2. Go to the section “Declarations and payments” and select the option “Check balance in favor”.

When should the annual declaration be made to the SAT?
- If you are a legal entity (company), the deadline to make the declaration is March 31, 2025.
- If you are a natural person, the deadline is April 30, 2025.
