Through the Official Gazette of the State of Mexico (Edomex), the Mexican authorities reported that from January 1 to March 31 the Vehicle Ownership Subsidy Program 2025.
Car owners who are up to date with their tax obligations will not have to pay the tenancy because they may be beneficiaries of a 100 percent or 50 percent subsidy. The only condition is to comply with the endorsement.
This benefit is aimed at automobiles with invoice value of up to $550 thousand pesos without VAT; and the same applies to motorcycles with an invoice value of up to $115 thousand pesos without VAT.
According to the Edomex Finance Secretariat, The 100 percent subsidy will be for cars with plates issued in 2020 and later, and 50 percent will be for vehicles with license plates issued in 2019 at the time of renewal.
