The National Weather Service (SMN), of the National Water Commission (Conagua), reported that cold front number 22 will cause dense fog banks and a cold environment in the northeast, east and southeast of the country. In addition, intense rains are expected in Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca and Chiapas, while San Luis Potosí and Tamaulipas will register showers.
The atmosphere will remain cold to freezing in states such as Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Zacatecas and Nuevo León.
Showers are also expected in Chihuahua, Durango and Nuevo León, isolated rains in Sinaloa, Coahuila and Zacatecas, and conditions for falling snow or sleet in the mountains of Durango, Chihuahua, Coahuila and Nuevo León, as well as freezing rain in some areas from Zacatecas.

“The entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea will generate heavy rains in Michoacán and Guerrero; showers in Hidalgo, State of Mexico and Puebla, and isolated rains in Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Mexico City, Tlaxcala ., Morelos, Campeche and Quintana Roo,” he reported.
Wind of 40 to 60 km/h with gusts of 70 to 90 km/h is also forecast in: Baja California, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato and Querétaro. Gusts of 50 to 70 km/h in the Gulf of California, Sonora, Sinaloa, Coahuila, Nuevo León, the center of the country and the Valley of Mexico; Gusts of 40 to 60 km/h in: Baja California Sur, Chihuahua and Nayarit, and waves of 1 to 3 m high on the western coast of Baja California.
