Twenty years after its last broadcast on TF1, “Le Bigdil” was a hit for its big return last Thursday on RMC Story. 1.8 million spectators and 9% audience share, figures well above even the most optimistic expectations.
It now remained to be seen whether the rather crazy figures were only due to the curiosity of a comeback, or whether the success would continue. For this second episode, now shifted to Friday, Vincent Lagaf’s show achieved the feat of bringing together almost the same number of viewers (1.78 million).
TF1 and M6 ahead
Even stronger, by showing on Friday, “Bigdil” further gained audience share. It thus brought together 10.1% of French people in front of their TV, being surpassed only by France 2 (Cesar Wagner with 21.9%) and France 3 (La Boîte à Secrets with 11.7%). So you understand, the Bigdil on the fairly anonymous channel RMC Story brought together more people than the giants TF1 or M6.
The audience peak even reached 2 million viewers. Next meeting is set for Friday January 17 at 9:10 p.m. Towards a new triumph?
