The President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum announced that A team of Mexican forest fighters and the Ministry of National Defense (Defense) will be sent to Los Angeles to help put out the fires that affect the area.
In his morning conference this Friday, Sheinbaum Pardo said that the corresponding procedures are being carried out so that the members of the National Forestry Commission (Conafor) and the Defense elements that make up the DN-III Plan can reach the United States.

“We are going to send a support team to Los Angeles, a team of solidarity (…) We are going to support, not only because the people and the government of Mexico have always been generous, but because Furthermore, there are many Mexicans in this area of the United States,” indicated the President.
He assured that the US authorities “were very grateful.”
