God bless Oberhof! What a week our French biathlon team is having for the German World Cup stage. In fact, we have to go back a long way to find traces of races during which we vibrated so much, among the ladies with Paula Botet on Thursday, then especially with this sublime triplet Quentin Fillon Maillet-Fabien Claude-Emilien Jacquelin on Friday.
Now it’s time for the men’s 12.5 km pursuit this Saturday. Our three French friends will obviously start in the lead, with QFM 58 seconds ahead of the eternal Norwegian big boss Johannes Boe (13th in the sprint). This could portend a new feat if our Blues confirm their impressive form on skis and in shooting. We are just asking for this to ignite again.
