Pensioners affiliated with the IMSS and ISSSTE must pay attention to the deposit dates corresponding to February 2025since these could be affected by the existence of a non-business day at the beginning of the month.

Although no official changes to the calendars have been announced, it is estimated that the deposit dates will be as follows:
– ISSSTE: Payments would be advanced for Thursday, January 30 or Friday, January 31, 2025this is due to the Institute’s payment policy of payment being made on a business day of the previous month (in this case in January).
– IMSS: In this month there will be a change due to the non-working day, that is, February 1 and 2 fall on a weekend and the 3rd is a holiday for the Commemoration of Constitution Day, therefore payment will be until February 4.
According to current policies, IMSS and ISSSTE pensioners will only receive the amount corresponding to their regular pension, without extraordinary increases or additional payments.
This amount is calculated based on the specific conditions of each worker at the time of retirement.
Although in some years bonuses or extraordinary payments have been delivered, no additional benefits are foreseen for this period. Therefore, beneficiaries should plan their finances with only the regular monthly payment.
