Popular Japanese singer Ado celebrated the 8th anniversary of the start of her music career on January 10. She insisted on not showing her face in the community, updated her photo album, and praised her image director and illustrator ORIHARA’s work for still being handsome. In an early interview with Taiwanese media Mimiyin, Ado explained that his name comes from the word “アド”, a supporting role in the traditional Japanese performance “Kyogen”. In addition to being cool when pronounced, “Ado” also means hard work, turmoil, trouble, etc. She thought it suited her personality well, so she chose a stage name, and her first album was also named “Crazy Words”.

Now that the event has officially entered its 9th year, Ado said that he never expected that he would be able to continue his activities under the name “Ado” until now.
