Starting this week, you can watch the brand new western series on Netflix American Primeval (2025– ). The bloody action story immediately impresses viewers, but according to subscribers it is definitely “not for sensitive viewers”.
Mixed reactions
Viewers call the new Netflix series “a tough western” and praise leading actor Taylor Kitsch. American Primeval However, critics only score 52% on Rotten Tomatoes, fortunately subscribers are a lot more enthusiastic and the new series gets 90% from them on the review site.
The Wild West
The series takes us to the America of 1857. Pain is everywhere, innocence and tranquility lose the battle of hatred and fear. Peace is a shrinking minority and few possess mercy – even fewer know compassion. There is no safe haven in these cruel lands and only one goal is important: survival. Netflix emphasizes that the series is a fictional dramatization of that time.
