The revelation of the second season of “New School” on Netflix is him. Present on the rap scene for around ten years, rapper Coelho releases his first album on Friday January 10 A day without end. With fourteen tracks, the artist explores all facets of urban music: melancholy or more angry, “it’s my perfect project, there are all the influences that I wanted to put in it. I even managed to make a little pop without too much bad taste,” rejoices the rapper.
The importance of the surroundings
The general public discovered Coelho in 2023 in season 2 of the Netflix musical show, “New School”, “I had watched the first season. I also needed to see if the artists had any impact on their careers before embarking on the project,” admits the Nantes resident. Since its appearance on the screens of a good number of French people, it has been a success. In his music video AMFwe can see the rapper chatting with an unscrupulous manager who promises him great things, until he realizes that he is not the winner of the 100,000 euros. A scene that the artist experienced? Not so much. Coelho is supported by a solid team, “After a big exhibition I needed to find a good team and I quickly had the opportunity to sign with Tunisiano and Markus”.
Good news for Coelho, fans are already won over by the first tracks of this album, “when I write I do it with sincerity and I think that’s why people can relate. I write my reality… But it must be common with other people,” thinks the rapper.
