“The state of health of the victim’s partner, aged 32, was declared incompatible with the custody measure by the doctors who examined him without him being able to be interviewed,” explained Grégoire Dulin in the evening , public prosecutor. “Investigations are continuing to determine the causes and circumstances of the commission of the facts” and “the prosecution will open, on Friday (…), a judicial investigation into the counts of murder by spouse and violence against minors under 15 years of age by ascendant”, a -he clarified.
Woman’s screams heard by police
Intervened during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday after being alerted by neighbors, the police initially heard the cries of a woman which were interrupted while they were waiting for equipment to enter the apartment, explained the prosecution. .
According to the same source, a man “ended up quickly opening the door by throwing himself at them armed with two knives”, before being overpowered by the police who then noted the presence of the woman, dead, in the bathroom. Two children, aged 7 and 4, were “sheltered in a suitable place”. “The medical examinations of the children carried out this afternoon show that they also suffered violence,” the prosecution said Wednesday evening. The accused is 32 years old and had been convicted three times, notably for violence by his ascendant.
