Isaac Steidl was indicted in Paris this Thursday. The Italian, founder and manager of the Coco.fr website, is accused of having been used in the commission of numerous sexual crimes and homophobic attacks. The name of this site closed seven months ago was widely used in the Mazan rape case. Dominique Pelicot, who invited dozens of men to come and rape his wife Gisèle, used the platform closed a lot in June 2024 to “recruit”.
According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, the site was “known for many years as being a facilitator of the commission of various offenses, in particular acts of child crime, pimping, prostitution, rape, sale of narcotics, apens, even homicides.”
His manager was arrested on Tuesday January 7 and placed in police custody. Isaac Steidl will be prosecuted for numerous offenses including “criminal conspiracy”, “aggravated pimping” or even “administration of an online platform to enable an illicit transaction by an organized gang”. The case will be followed by the National Jurisdiction for the Fight against Organized Crime (Junalco).
