Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Lenovo has just introduced the newest Legion Go S at CES 2025. What’s interesting is that Lenovo has revealed two variants this time.
For the first time, Legion Go S will come with SteamOS. This is the first third-party gaming handheld to run Valve’s operating system.
Apart from SteamOS, as quoted from a press release, Thursday (9/1/2025), Lenovo also introduced another variant that runs the Windows operating system. This device also comes with a number of improvements.
It is said that the design of this device is now lighter and more traditional, making it more comfortable to use. Not only that, Lenovo includes Legion TrueStrike Controllers which are equipped with RGB lights, as well as a D-Pad.
Legion Go S has an 8 inch screen with a resolution of 1900×1200 with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Lenovo embedded the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip to strengthen this device.
To support its performance, this handheld console is supported by a 55.5 Whrs capacity battery with a 65W adapter. This device is also equipped with a microSD card slot, two UBS4 Type-C ports, and a headphone jack.
In terms of storage, this device supports SSD size M.2 PCIe 2242 or 2280. Both Lenovo Legion Go S variants are scheduled for release in 2025, but at different times.
The Windows 11 version of the Lenovo Legion Go S will be released in January 2025. This device, which comes in a white color variant, is priced starting from USD 729.99 or around IDR 11.8 million.
Meanwhile, for the SteamOS version, Lenovo will release it in May 2025. This variant is sold at prices starting at USD 499.99 or around Rp. 6.9 million.
