When all seasons of Schitt’s Creek (2015–2020) appeared on Netflix at the last minute of 2024, there initially did not seem to be much interest in the sitcom on the streaming service. However, the tide now seems to be turning: the award-winning comedy series has now secured a place in the Netflix top 10.

Revival has begun

Spoiled children
We follow video store magnate Johnny and his wife Moira, a soap star, who suddenly find themselves completely bankrupt. With only one remaining asset, a small town called Schitt’s Creek, which the Roses had bought as a joke years earlier, this once wealthy couple must give up life as they know it. With their two spoiled children in tow and their spoiled lives behind them, the Rose family is forced to face their newfound poverty and come together as a family to survive.
