Rumors about the chipset that will be used in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series are heating up again. As previously stated, it will completely rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Now, information is circulating that the Galaxy S25 Plus may use a chipset made by Samsung itself, namely the Exynos 2500.
Reported GSM ArenaSunday (8/12/2024), a screenshot of the Geekbench database of the new Samsung cellphone was circulating.
In that database, the device with model number SM-S936B, Galaxy S25 Plus, recorded a score of 2,358 for single-core testing and 8,211 for multi-core.
Furthermore, this device runs on Android 15 OS and is equipped with 12GB RAM. Previously, the same model number also appeared on Geekbench in early November, with slightly different scores, namely 2,359 and 8,141 points.
If it is true that the Galaxy S25 Plus uses the Exynos 2500 chipset, this is a bold step from Samsung. The reason is, many parties criticize the performance of the Exynos chipset because it is considered inferior to Snapdragon.
