Sheinbaum announces delivery of new Banco del Bienestar cards from this date

These new cards will be delivered to the beneficiaries of the Women’s Wellbeing Pension, which in its first phase will support Mexican women aged 63 and 64; while in February high school students will receive their cards for the new “Rita Cetina Gutiérrez” Universal Scholarship.

“On January 3 we make the first delivery of the cards, we are going to go to the State of Mexico to deliver the first cards and during the first months the Banco del Bienestar cards will be delivered.”he highlighted.

Sheinbaum reported that the Banco del Bienestar cards that were delivered during the administration of former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador They will continue to be valid for the collection of existing Welfare Programs, such as the Pension for older adults and people with disabilities.

“The cards that were delivered with President López Obrador are valid, they are still valid for older adults, disabilities, All the Welfare Programs that are rights today are still valid,” he said.

Regarding the Casa por Casa Salud program, he explained that the objective is to promote preventive health, and that the health personnel hired to carry out home visits to older adults and people with disabilities, are members of the community or nearby communities.

He added, as part of the Pension for the Well-being of the Elderly, 725,300 new additions have been made. and the cards will be delivered during the months of January and February 2025.
