The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, confirmed the visit of the President of Mexico, Claudia Shienbaum to the state during this Friday and which is part of a work tour of the federal president through some states in the west of the country.
Saturday’s visit will be to the state of Nayarit to inaugurate the last section of the short road that goes from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta and that crosses through that neighboring entity.
In the case of Jalisco, Lemus assured that the President of Mexico will tour the municipalities of El Salto, Tlaquepaque y Tlajomulco of Zuniga.
“We are going to move to the municipality of El Salto where we are going to have a meeting at a company in the industrial corridor, we are going to talk about economic development, the strategy we have to continue growing investments in microprocessors, chips,” he said in a radio interview.
Continuing with the activities, There will be an executive meeting of the Jalisco governor’s team with the President’s cabinet to present priority projects of his government, mainly in terms of transportation, water or infrastructure.
“We are going to have a tour of L4 of the Light Rail. It is very important for the president because it is the model that she is outlining at the national level for the railway construction of our country, use the right of way that already exists to make a parallel route so that freight trains continue to circulate, but fast passenger trains continue to circulate in parallel.”
“We are going to support the President’s project of the Mexico – Querétaro – Irapuato – Guadalajara train that then goes to Nogales. A passenger train, a fast train that will undoubtedly give great competitiveness to the state of Jalisco and the service so that many people can travel on these routes,” explains Pablo Lemus.
On the other hand, on the issue of line 4 of the light train, Lemus will take advantage of it so that priority projects can be presented, although he will also propose that there be financing schemes to carry them out, as was the case with line 4 of the Light Rail.
