What is the e.signature and why is it important?

The electronic signature (e.signature) is a digital mechanism used to authenticate the identity of taxpayers in different fiscal and administrative operations before the SAT.

This firm has a validity of four years. If it expires, users have to renew it to continue using SAT digital services, as well as filing returns, requesting tax refunds and other tax procedures.

Who must process the e.signature?

He Tax Administration Service issued a notice to remind taxpayers to pay attention to the expiration date of their electronic signature (e.firma) and review the corresponding procedures of the process.

Individuals and legal entities whose signature certificates expire in 2025 they must renew their signatures electronics before their expiration date.
