Threads will launch a posting schedule feature to support brands and businesses

On the other hand, Threads is testing a new feature that allows users to see how popular their posts are.

Previously, the “Insights” feature only displayed aggregated metrics for all posts. Now, users can see the performance of each post individually.

For Threads users who take part in the trial, they can sort posts based on the highest or lowest number of views, likes or replies.

Apart from that, there is also information about how many followers and non-followers interacted with the post. What’s more interesting, users can also see how many people follow their account after seeing a particular post.

Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, revealed that this feature aims to help users better understand the type of content that resonates with their audience, especially after Threads changed its algorithm to better display content from followed accounts.

Meta Compete with Bluesky

This step was taken by Meta in the midst of tough competition with Bluesky, a Threads competitor which is increasingly popular and has had an update with a number of new features, such as integration with fediverse, more search, custom feeds, and other advanced features.

While Threads has more than 275 million monthly active users, Bluesky is starting to approach Threads’ number of daily active users.
