And on the occasion of National Christmas Eve Day, every December 8the head of the Secretariat of Agricultural Development (Sedagro), Margarita Galeana Torres, highlighted the participation of Morelos at the national level in the production of this emblematic flower, a symbol of peace and unity in the December holidays.

Galeana Torres specified that promoting the production and marketing of this flower not only strengthens the local economy, but also contributes to preserving a legacy that enriches the traditions of Morelos and the entire country.
In this sense, the Secretary of Agricultural Development called on the population to visit the nurseries of Morelos and acquire some of the poinsettia varieties that the producers have cared for with great care over the last few months, to whom recognized his effort and dedication.

“Christmas Eve, with its characteristic intense red color and its history full of symbolism, continues to be a source of pride for the people of Morelos and an essential element of the December holidays,” he highlighted.
