Microsoft Trials New Phone Link Feature, iPhone Users Can Transfer Data to Windows PC

Previously, it was known that Microsoft would improve the capabilities of two of its iconic applications, namely Paint and Notepad. This improvement was carried out with AI integration to make user activities easier.

Quoted from The RegisterFriday (11/15/2024), one of the AI ​​features that Microsoft is presenting in Notepad is Rewrite. As the name suggests, this feature allows users to perfect the text they are creating.

It is explained that there are several options offered by this feature, such as ‘Make text more concise’, ‘Make text more formal’, and ‘Make it more relaxed’.

Once the user has the desired options, the AI ​​will generate alternative text options. So, Microsoft Notepad users just have to choose the desired option.

The Rewrite feature in Notepad is supported by Microsoft Cloud. Therefore, users must first log in with a Microsoft account to use it.

Apart from getting additional AI-based features, Microsoft is also improving Notepad performance. The company claims, in the latest version, there is an increase in launch time of up to 55 percent.
