Techland’s new game “Dying Light: The Beast” previously announced at Gamescom (tentative translation, Dying Light: The Beast) released the latest trailer at the TGA 2024 Awards Ceremony today (13th), featuring the main villain of the game “Baron” Unveiled, the game is expected to be released on PC, PS, and Xbox in summer 2025.
The Baron is a cold-blooded, calculating but extremely intelligent scientist. He is also the biggest threat that the protagonist Kyle Crane has ever encountered. He once brutally conducted experiments on the protagonist for more than ten years. His real name is Marius Fischer, the last descendant of the pharmaceutical family Castor Woods.
The Baron believes that the remnants of humanity that survived the virus outbreak are weak, so he regards the restoration of order as his moral right and highest duty. To achieve this goal, he delved deeper into the nefarious strain of the virus, pursuing a grand plan that remains a mystery to this day.
To Baron, Kyle Crane is just one small piece of the giant puzzle he’s putting together. He does not take pleasure in inflicting pain, but accepts the pain endured by his subjects as a necessary side effect of the experiment’s success. After all, all means are justified for the greater good.
The new PV reveals immersive scenes such as the Baron’s laboratory and swamp, as well as new virus-infected people posing greater threats to the day and night cycle system.
Dying Light: Trapped is a thrilling indie zombie adventure set in the post-apocalyptic Beaver Valley, a once-popular travel destination.
