Pertamina Uses Digital Platform from Telkom to Facilitate Procurement of Goods and Services

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – In order to simplify the process of procuring goods and services, Pertamina EP utilizes platform digital-based PaDi UMKM from Telkom Indonesia.

Manager of General Services Regional 2 Pertamina EP, Erwan Karouw, said that previously they often made direct appointments by going through quite a long process, from submitting an application to issuing a PO (purchase order).

“Sometimes this process can take a month because it is difficult to find suitable vendors. In fact, it is not uncommon for them to experience rejection for orders in small quantities,” said Erwan in his statement, Thursday (12/12/2024).

To reduce this problem, Pertamina EP chose the PaDI UMKM platform. With access to thousands of products from MSMEs throughout Indonesia, the previously complex procurement process now runs faster, more transparently, and is easier to control.

“We feel helped by PaDi UMKM. Because this platform has a large list of suppliers in various categories, so it really helps the process of selecting the products to be purchased and the ordering process is faster,” added Erwan.

He explained, based on experience, procurement which previously took about a month, now thanks to the presence of PaDi has become much more concise, only taking a week.

“PaDi UMKM innovation provides a solution to the challenges of procuring goods and services that we face. There are many suppliers, the products offered also consist of various categories. Apart from that, the ordering process to issuing a PO is very concise, easy and fast,” concluded Erwan.
