The explosion of at least three stationary diesel tanks alarmed the population and mobilized authorities and rescuers in the municipality of Benito Juárez, in Nuevo León.
State Civil Protection arrived at the site to carry out the corresponding suffocation work, mainly, reducing the temperature of the tanks with a capacity of 50 thousand liters of diesel.
So far, the authorities have ruled out any risk to nearby residents, so the evacuation of residents has been ruled out.
Rescuers from different relief corporations such as the fire brigade and Civil Protection team from the municipalities of Juárez, El Carmen and Guadalupe joined the site.
Civil Protection elements from Guadalupe, Monterrey, El Carmen, HG Firefighters, Kia and Water and Drainage elements have also been mobilized.
